Crosslake-Shoreline for Miles
Monday, June 11, 2018
Crosslake has lake in the name and that's appropriate for this town with about 121 miles of shoreline in city limits. About one third of Crosslake’s area is covered by water. The beauty of Crosslake and abundant water aren't the only great attributes. Crosslake has a growing business community. Cross-Tech manufacturing is a worldwide leader and one of the region’s largest employers. They manufacture hydraulic rotary brush cutter attachments called the Brush Wolf. With over 25 models of the product and a 27,000 square foot building Cross-Tech is a constantly growing and changing company.
A fun summer event in Crosslake is the US Army Corp of Engineers outdoor movie nights held July, August and September with free popcorn and water. Donations are accepted. The money donated will go to improving Christmas light decorating in Crosslake. There is also a water safety program before the movie.
Check out the biggest day in Crosslake, St Patrick's Day! Parade, vendors, music, food and drinks-this event has it all! For winter visitors, check out Winterfest including a medallion hunt, indoor carnival, meat raffle, music, firemen’s pancake breakfast, ice car racing and more. Crosslake days in September is a fun end to summer bash. This is prime fall color season in the area and the event includes fun activities like a chili contest, car, motorcycle and tractor show, and kids activities.
Come see the dam in town, which is quite a sight to see, enjoy camping at a local campground or stay in a resort or motel. Don't miss the “up north” charm of Cross Lake
