Come Explore Crosby

Crosby was named “the antique capital of Minnesota” in 1998 by Arne Carlson. Antique shops nearly fill the Main Street of this quaint small town. Biking is another word that comes to mind in the city of Crosby. Cuyuna Country State Recreation Area has some paved bike trails, one running from Crosby to Riverton. The mountain biking trails are acclaimed and spread over 25 miles. Trails are marked for everyone from beginner to the most skilled riders. The deep red soil of the trails against the blue skies and beautiful trees is a sight to behold. Watch for eagles, red-tailed hawks and beavers.
Come for the biking and stay in one of three yurts in the park.
From 1928-1934 Crosby was a major mining town. A number of mining companies operated out of Croft Mine. The mine has a rich history and has seasonal tours. The Soo Line Depot Museum is also an interesting stop at a visit to Crosby. It has a vast history of the historic Cuyuna Iron Range.
