Lake Shore-It Really is on the Lake

Monday, November 13, 2017

A lot of young families are moving to Lake Shore for the natural beauty, friendliness among residents and community spirit. Seasonal residents and visitors triple Lake Shore’s small population in the summer months. This 18 square mile city has some of the friendliest people. There's seven lakes within city limits. Considered “paradise” by some residents, come fish one of Lake Shore’s lakes or visit the area for hunting season! The 80 acre Fritz Loven park has beautiful hiking among the many trees, wildlife and babbling brooks. The park has restrooms, a playground and trails for snowshoeing and cross country skiing in the winter.

A team in Lake Shore is currently working on a plan for a trail along highway 77 to make it safer for foot and bike traffic. Check out the city website for more information on this project! The fishing forecast is even listed there. That's pretty important for keeping track of the seven lakes in the city! Visit cityoflakeshore.com for more info on beautiful Lake Shore, MN.
