Summer Fun for the Whole Family.

From mid-May to Labor Day weekend, this sleepy little hamlet bursts into a vibrant community of folks here to enjoy the natural beauty of the area and festive times in our quaint town. Longville is town-central for the many cabins and summer residences along Long Lake and Woman Lake. Long Lake is excellent for pike fishing and is known for its abundant wildlife, including many loons and even bald eagle. Longville boasts an airport, for easy access, and offers float plane rides during the summer. And of course, as you probably already know, Longville is “The Turtle Racing Capital of the World.” Every week in the summer finds the main street shut down to vehicles and full of food, games, music – and of course turtle racing!
