Where the Legend Lives On.

We may be known around the world as the “home of Bigfoot,” but searching for the elusive Sasquatch – famously captured on film in Remer in 2009 – isn’t the only game in town. Directly to Remer’s north is the 650,000 acre Chippewa National Forest, home to the largest population of nesting bald eagles in the continental US. Remer is perfectly located for enjoying the great outdoors – and while you’re out there fishing or boating on one of the hundreds of lakes in our area, or biking, hiking, or just soaking up the sun in one of our many charming resorts or campgrounds, keep an eye out for an eagle soaring above. Craving a closer look? Remer boasts the largest bald eagle statue in the world. Learn more at http://www.remerchamber.com/
